Thermecro is a patented Solar Heating System that uses renewable energy from the sun to heat your pool or spa water.
NOTE: All solar heating arrays and complete solar heating systems are PLUS carriage, quoted at time of order.
The Thermecro Evacuated Tube Solar Heating System is built to last and is the most efficient way of harnessing the sun's energy. In fact, it absorbs up to 92% of radiation that strikes the collector, achieving significant higher pool water temperatures than alternate systems.
Thermecro's integral ground support frame, pre-fitted solar controller and PEX pipe kit ensure that installation is both quick and easy. Designed to maintain a pool temperature of 28°C to 29°C throughout the June to September period (a typical UK summer), a secondary heat source is recommended to help achieve desired pool temperature as quickly as possible at the start of the season and during periods of inclemental weather conditions.
The Thermecro complete kit contains the Solar Controller, Interface Valve and plumbing kit but not the 25m PEX pipe which will need to be ordered seperately.
Features:
- Works even in the lowest of ambient air temperatures
- Absorbs 92% of radiation that strikes the collector
- Works on collection solar radiation, not just direct sunlight
- Generates far more hot water per m2 than any other solar heating system
- The most efficient way of harvesting the sun's energy
- Achieves significantly higher pool water temperatures than alternative solar collectors
- Compact design in comparison to all other solar heating systems
- System is perfectly insulated so delivers hot water to the pool or spa with virtually zero losses
- Significantly reduces your energy consumption
- Eco-friendly, reduces your carbon footprint
- Sea and salt water compatable

The following table illustrates the average daily ambient temperature of 16oC and a desired water temperature of 28oC. The Thermecro will increase the water temperature by 2oC (MAX.TEMP.LIFT), and is equivalent to the expected daily heat loss of a side insulated and covered pool.
