Solar Pods are an ideal solar heating system for above ground swimming pools. Strong polycarbonate dome with coils made of strong polypropylene. Easily connected together, simply add multiple units for larger swimming pools.
Solar Pod Kits include main base with stand, 1.25" to 1.5" hose reducer, collared tube adaptor, hose clamps, 1m and 0.36m hoses, Hose ID 38mm, 2 side hose connectors, clear dome and solar protection cover.
One Solar Pod is ideal for use with swimming pools up to 4,500 litres (1 gallon = 4,546 litres).
There is no minimum pump hp for solar pods but a recommended flow rate of 7-10m³/h is required.

Whether you use the Solar Pods as a top up for your existing pool heater or as the only form of heating it makes economical & environmental sense to use for your Swimming Pool. Due to their semi-spherical shape, they can always collect the sun’s rays, without having to specify a pre-determined orientation or inclination. Measuring just 58cm x 58cm they are extremely compact in size compared to the traditional style of solar panels and therefore ideal for applications that are short of space.
The pod is a panel made up entirely of plastics, which means it won’t rust or have any build up of lime scale with the coil made from a strong polypropylene and the dome made of tough durable polycarbonate.
The solar pods are not only extremely lightweight (9kg) and take up very little space, but they will work with your current swimming pool pump, they are easy to assemble and multiple pods can be connected very easily making them suitable for all sizes of pools.
