** Offer Only Available Whilst Stocks Last** The Waterco Aquaflow XL Inverter Side Mount Heat Pump has the flexibility to vary the speed of the fan motor and compressor to maintain a constant temperature allowing it to use less energy than conventional heat pumps.
The heat pump adjusts the output from 50% - 100% depending on heat demand and environmental factors, significantly reducing energy consumption.
Easy to install and highly efficient, the Ultra Inverter Heat Pump is available in 12kW and 17kW models.
Complete with a 10 year warranty on the titanium heat exchanger 3 years on compressor, 2 years on all other components and a 2 years labour warranty.
The Waterco Aquaflow XL Inverter Side Mount Heat Pumps have side mounted fans and slim-line units for easy installations. The Aquaflow XL has both heat and cool functions.

Pool Water Temperature - The normal range would be between 25 - 27ºC for fairweather swimming, for temperatures in excess of this (28 - 30ºC) we recommend increasing to the next unit size.
Swimming Season - The season or time of the year in which the pool will be used. Most domestic pools operate between May to September. Extended season is April to October.
Daily Use - It is paramount all pools are covered with a heat retention cover when not in use. If left uncovered, far more energy would be used than the energy using a heat pump would save you.
Over Spec - Where possible, installing the largest affordable heat pump is recommended, e.g: if the pool requires 100kW of energy to maintain temperature at X (under ideal air temperatures). A 24kW heat pump when delivering max power input (5.88kW) will run for 4-16 hours to heat your pool (100/24kW). This means you would consume approximately 25kW of energy.
A 17kW heat pump with a power input of 3.62kW will run for 5.88 hours to heat the pool (100/17kW). This means you would consume around 21.28kW of energy. While the energy consumption is almost the same, the larger heat pump can heat up the pool nearly 30% faster ((24kW) 5.88 hours - (17kW) 4.16 hours - 29.25%). This means you can maximise your COP by heating during the warmest part of the day, rather than running the heat pump over a longer period when the air temperature is not at optimum levels.
