Gold Horizons Powder Filter Cleaner

Gold Horizons Powder Filter Cleaner is ideal for the cleaning of filter cartridges and the removal of scale, rust, oils and greases.  The 500g container allows for 5 x 100g treatments.

Application Instructions

1. Wear protective gloves and eye protection, use in open space - avoid use on windy days.
2. Remove filter(s) from filter compartment.
3. Rinse filters with fresh water using a high-pressure hose pipe to remove loose matter.
4. Measure 100g of Gold Horizons Powder Filter Cleaner using the enclosed 10ml spoon (10 ml equals approximately 10g of product).  Place the 100g powder into a plastic bucket of up to 18 litres of clean water then stir in the powder.
5. Place the cartridge into the solution, ensuring it is completely immersed and soak overnight.
6. Rinse the cartridge off with fresh water.
7. For best results, allow the cartridge to dry fully as this tightens the fibres, aiding the destruction of bacteria.  Reinstall cartridge once dry.

General Precautions

• Always wear eye and face protection when handling this product. Keep product away from eyes at all times. 
• Dose close to the water bucket, avoiding windy condidtions to avoid the possibility of product blowing towards the face.

Handling/Storage

• Handle products in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
• Never mix with any other chemicals including cleaning products and chlorine products, as a dangerous reaction may occur.
• Wash hands after use.
• Do not allow the product to become damp in storage, store in a cool and dry place.
