Freshwater Phosphate Test Strips

FreshWater® Phosphate Test Strips provide quick and reliable water test results. Phosphates are contributors to algae growth and can reduce the effectiveness of some automated chlorination systems.

This test allows you to read low-range test results by looking down into the reacted sample tube. Test instructions are on the bottle along with a colour chart. Keep phosphates below 300 ppb (parts per billion) to avoid problems in your spa.

This unique bottle has a moulded desiccant liner that protects the strips from moisture intrusion. It is important to keep moisture away from unused strips so they can provide an accurate test to help protect bathers and spa equipment. 

Instructions

1.  Fill test tube to 10ml line 
2. Remove one test strip from bottle. Close bottle cap tightly after removing strip. Gently bend strip in half (do not fold) with pads facing inward. Place strip inside test tube cap 
3. Cap test tube and invert slowly 5 times (invert the tube slowly to allow the bubble to go from the top to bottom and bottom to top).
4. Remove cap and test strip.
5. Place bottom of test tube on white boxed area of colour chart. Look down through OPEN test tube and compare to colour chart.
