Blue Horizons Calc-Chlor Pods

Blue Horizons Calc-Chlor Pods 4.8kg is a stabiliser free 300g slow dissolving Calcium Hypochlorite capsule. Their sleeved design allows for gradual chlorine release, providing up to 5 days of sanitation per pod.

A standout advantage of Blue Horizons Calc-Chlor pods is their stabilizer-free composition. Free from cyanuric acid, they prevent the buildup of substances that can compromise chlorine's efficacy. By opting for stabilizer-free tablets, pool owners ensure that chlorine levels remain optimal, safeguarding water clarity and cleanliness.

Warning: Do not mix neat with any other type of chlorine. Always add to a clean and empty skimmer basket. 

Application Instructions

1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If not in this range, adjust.

2. As these stabiliser-free calcium hypochlorite tablets are designed to dissolve slowly, it may be necessary to shock dose the pool water prior to their use to first establish some chlorine more rapidly. Maintain free chlorine level in the range 1 – 3mg/l.

3. If your swimming pool is outdoors, test the stabiliser level and if required, apply Blue Horizons Chlorine Stabiliser to achieve a level of 40mg/l.

4. Skimmer Application: Place two Calc-Chlor Pods in a clean and empty skimmer basket per 50,000 litres (11,000 gallons) of pool water.

5. Do not remove the plastic sleeve as this helps to ensure slow, consistent chlorine release.

6. Once the Calc-Chlor Pod has dissolved, the plastic sleeve will float and can be removed and discarded. Each pod lasts up to 5 days, dependent on water flow.

Caution: Blue Horizons Calc-Chlor Pods are not suitable for chlorine feeders/dispensers.

Handling/Storage

• Handle products in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
• Wash hands after use.
• Ensure chemicals do not become damp in storage - store in a cool dry place.
